    Facebook vs Google+ vs Twitter

For those who use Facebook and/or Twitter, which do you use the most, which do you like the best and why?

Has anyone tried Google+ yet? I joined last night and so far I quite like it. It's sort of like a cross between Facebook and Twitter.

It has "circles" that you add your friends to, so you can classify them, eg - friends, family, school friends, work friends, etc. You can name the circles anything you want and the people you add to them don't know what their circle is called, so you can't accidentally offend anyone!

Then when you share stuff like status updates, photos, links, etc - you can decide which circles to share it with. It's pretty cool 'cause you can easily manage who sees what, which is one thing I don't like so much about Facebook.

Anyway, if anyone wants an invitation to join, send me a PM with your email address. I'd be interested to know what anyone else thinks.

I use FB a lot more than Twitter, but I like both for different reasons.

I like Twitter because I can tweet the randomest things and constantly. I tweet a lot of rubbish and I don't think it's appropriate for FB - I doubt my friends would appreciate a status update every minute! I find the 140 character limit a bit frustrating at times. I also wish it was easier to view photos.

I like FB because I enjoy being able to view friends' walls, browse photos (without having to click a link), join groups and pages, send messages, etc. There's so much more to take in compared to Twitter.

As for Google +, I am not getting the hang of this at all. Perhaps I will with time?

There's so much out there, it's hard to keep up! I'm playing around with Pinterest at the moment.

    Do you have a favourite?

I spend way too much time on Facebook, and its worse now I have an Iphone and can access it whereever I am, mainly at work bahahaha.
I am intriqued by Google plus but that was more cause it appeared a few days ago on quite a number of my friends statuses on fb. Not sure I need another social networking site, however I do like the idea of being able to selevt which groups of friends can see your status and who cant, there are so many things Id love to post on fb but dont, hence why I come here and vent (seems to be all I do on here, must change that).

Yes I would like that too. But it probably won't be long and we will be able to do that on Facebook

Twitter is a great tool for social networking with information sharers on a textual level. whilst Google+ on a media level while Facebook is good for personal social networking. I mainly use Google+ when I want something done, Facebook for mindless social networking and twitter to make sure that I get good facts fast from reliable sources
