Apparently it was a bit of a hoax fiji bride. The company has just posted on facebook apologising about it. I can understand where they are coming from, but quite disapointing aswell. Oh well!

Bet hubby is surprised! i cant believe how much my belly has grown lately. Its getting so hard to get socks and shoes on these days lol
Blue seems to be the trend at the moment, i know of a few ladies all having boys now

Shame about that being a hoax... I didn't look too closely at it because I think we were given one anyway at our 20 week scan.

If anyone's interested, Ozsale has those Babybjorn carriers today for $159 down from $230 (well ok it's more like $169 with shipping). I'm debating whether my bank account can handle it at the moment (got a few big expenses this week) hee hee.

thanks Kelly, it appears to be a bit of a blue year. I've got a mums group online that I'm in and it had been looking very pink initially but then the boys have really romped it home for now, will be interesting to see the final stats once all the babies have arrived.

that's a pity that those bags were a hoax, will have to let my mums group know.

hubby was very funny when I picked him up. He didn't really compare bellies until we got home, put one hand on mine and one on his and said yep you're bigger now!! lol. He also commented on the drive home, sounding very serious that he'd had a dream whilst he was away (he has some psychic dreams including predicting a boy) and tells me that our baby came out with red hair and looked like one of our male friends and asked whether there was something to worry about. Now this male friend is most definitely more his friend than mine so of course it left me laughing and responding that if it came out looking like him the baby would be going back where it came from!!

Kat did you end up deciding on buying the babybjorn? I'm still not sure whether I'm going to buy anything like that or not

I haven't bought it in the end (although it is still up on the website), a friend of mine is now going to loan me hers and we'll see how it goes. She didn't get much use out of it - she says because her girls were whoppers she found they were too heavy and gave her backaches. But everyone's different so it'll be good to see how it goes without committing to spending the $$!

That's funny Fiji - your hubby sounds like a crack up!

Baby is doing really well though, strong heartbeat. Ive been having a few headaches the last few days though, which is annoying.
Hope you ladies are all doing well

Oh Tanya that would have been exciting doing the 3d scan. Hope your parcel arrives quickly. Hope you don't hear back about glucose test, haven't heard when I'm doing it as yet but not looking forward to it.

We've just returned last night from our first anniversary/babymoon trip to Port Douglas and boy does it suck to be home!!! So cold back here. Wasn't massively warm up there but could at least live in shorts and singlet during the day and enjoy a bit of warmth. Had a fantastic time. Tried a few times for hubby to feel bub kicking but he seems to stop every time hubby puts his hand on my belly, it makes me wonder whether bub can feel the difference between hot and cold as hubbys hand is soo warm (also don't think bub liked our dip at Mossman Gorge which was really chilly as he was very quiet for the rest of the day). He's definitely kicking up a storm in there these days, including kicking me low down when I'm slumped over and sometimes kicking and hitting me at the same time. I feel like a human punching bag!!

First midwife appointment tomorrow which I'm going to try drag hubby to since he's only being to our 12 week scan and that's it so hasn't even heard his heartbeat yet. Also hoping to head down to Adelaide this week to pick up our furniture, can't wait!!

Hey girls hope you're doing well. I've had a bit of a rocky day. After suffering from a rash for the last three and a half weeks I finally have blood results back and a diagnosis that I have Cholestatis which is an issue with the liver and bile acid. I have now been prescribed with something that I think I will have to take for the rest of my pregnancy with regular blood tests to monitor my levels with the potential of having to see a specialist at W&CH, may have to deliver there and may have to have bub early. Really not the news I was wanting to hear. At this point in time I'm pretty well over this pregnancy and not happy to know that I have 60-80% chance of this recurring in future pregnancies. Really hoping that with having caught it early and close monitoring that everything will progress well but feeling very anxious of the alternative. Really not enjoying this whole pregnancy thing right now and wishing hubby were home Hopefully will have some better news soon, really hoping that it's not going to be a huge issue for me.

Oh that's no good Fiji!!!! I hope it's well managed with what your on now and dose not cause you any more hassles!!! On the plus side womans and children's are wonderful and the place you want to be if it's needed!!! I had both of my girls at WCH and would happily do go back!!! I also spent a lot of time around the hospital when I was little and my baby brother was really ill and spent most of his life there or interstate hospitals and they were fantastic!!!

I remember Mr hicks I used to get so excited when I was close to my due date lol
